God's Angel

Today, I have come to learn of the passing my long time friend, Zahra Era. Such a young and beautiful soul has been taken from us. It was a sudden and unexpected death. I am in shock. I am in disbelief. I am deeply sadden by the loss of such a wonderful person whom I have gotten the chance to share many memories with.

RIP Zahra Era

May you rest in peace and watch over the rest of us.

Hi beauties!

Guess I'm on a roll today! My second post for today! hehe. Anyways, I hear alot of people talk about this e/s color isn't a good for me OR that e/s color isn't good for me. But you know what...I think anyone can rock every e/s color!!! That's right! I said it! Yes, some colors may be more complimentary to your eye color and blah blah blah, but it's always fun to try new colors and combos see what your creative juices come up with.

This posts will be the first of the series that I call: "Who says you can't rock every eyeshadow color?!? These are color combos I've come up with to share with you guys! I feel some of the colors are a bit bright and loud but still wearable at the same time. Anyways, here's a red look I did a while back. It just took me forever to get around to posting it. ^_^ Don't hate.

Quick Fix for a saggy LV bag!

Hello Beauties!

The reason I never wanted to buy an LV Speedy was because of the sag, believe it or not! It's a pretty room bag, in my opinion but if it gets a bit heavy, it starts to sag. Therefore, I didn't want to purchase the bag, afterall you are buying the bag for show right?!?! But anyways, I never knew about the quick fix solution til I stepped foot in the LV store and the sales person told me about speedyshaper.com! In the end, I was convinced that would solve my problem so I went ahead and purchased my Speedy. *YaY*

Anyways, the "speedy shaper" is good for LV Speedy & LV Neverfull. It runs about $20 for each base. You will also find shaping pillows on the site as well but my cheaper alternative is to just stuff it with clothes when you're not using your bag!

IMATS 2009

It's time for me to hit the sack after I get this posted! I will be waking up at 3AM to shower and get ready for my road trip to LA!  Why am I going to LA so early?!? I'm so excited that I decided to skip work and go out there early to shop and get my beauty rest before I go break the bank @ "the show"! I'm so excited!!! And I can't wait to meet all the lovely pow wow ladies!!! Alright, so if you guys see me there, don't forget to say hi!   ^_^

Simple Smokey Eye Tutorial

HelloOo ChIcKas!!

One of my readers, Mayra, has recently started out with makeup and had asked for a smokey eye tutorial. So here it is!!! A very simple step-by-step guide to a smokey eye. Let me know if any of you guys want me to show a different technique.

Let's get started!

1. start with a clean lid

2. prime your eye with Urban Decay Primer Potion (UDPP)

3. using a MAC 239 brush, apply Knight Divine on lid

4. using a MAC 224 brush, apply Black Tied on outer V and blend into crease

*it should look like this so far*

5. using a clean blending brush, highlight the brow bone with Vanilla and blend into crease

*it should look like this by now*

6. using a bent eyeliner, line your eyes with fluidline in Blacktrack

7. apply Zoomlash mascara in Black

8. line the bottom waterline with technakohl in Graphblack

9. using a flat brush, smudge Black Tied into the waterline

Vio-lah! A simple smokey eye!!!

HelloOoOo beauties!!!

I woke up early today so I decided to slap some colors on my face. HA! And of course, I gotta post my damn FOTDs and what not. I got a few upcoming posts that needs to be edited so look out for that ladies (maybe fellows?)! 

I went to CCO two weeks ago and picked up some goodies and I decided to use one of them. Check out a simple look I did with "Star By Night" from the Starflash collection. I also read a lot about people who say they can't rock blue? I think otherwise....

Anyways, I thought I'd share a simple convo I had with a coworker on a smoke break because he was referring to the necklace on the above photo.

Hung: Hey, are you vietnamese?

Me: No!

Hung: Oh, cuz you have that necklace vietnamese people usually wear. (then he shows me his)

Me: no. I'm Chinese.  (thinking "umm ok" u don't gotta be viet to rock your religion on a chain)

I think I need to clarify who I am. Maybe it was suppose to be an ice breaker? I don't know but for everyone who mistakingly thinks I'm a different ethnicity, I'm CHINESE! I always get a variety of guesses such as Filipino, Korean, Vietnamese, anything but Chinese. Some guy came into my work a long time ago and told me I looked exotic. HAHA thanks? Bad pick up line buddy! So yeah, I'M CHINESE! Get it? Got it? GOOD! 

Alright, off to work to make my money to spend @ IMATS.
